Gadget Video Blogger Marques Brownlee released a video on YouTube demonstrating the near indestructibility of what he describes as the iPhone 6 front panel. If the iPhone 6 was really to come with a sapphire display then it means iPhone users should be ready to shell out more money, because according to the video, the sapphire display screen is near indestructible. According to Marques, the sapphire crystal display is already being used in high-end watches, cameras and other devices. ibtimes reported that the demand for the iPhone 6 is expected to be much greater than that of the iPhone 5s, which reportedly sold 51 million units during its first full quarter of availability. According to the Taiwanese publication Business Weekly, Apple has ordered 68 million units of the iPhone 6 in preparation for initial demand. With a Sapphire display though, consumers would have to dig deep in their pockets for the new iPhone 6.
